Effects of Partial Replacement of Fly Ash in Cement Concrete
Concrete | 2018
Fly ash is a waste generated by thermal power plants and it is a big environmental concern. In modern decades, industrialization and urbanization are the two biggest phenomena that are spreading all over the world. There should also be an investigation into the negative impacts of these phenomena on the environment and common life. The detrimental effects of these processes has been the production of large quantities of industrial wastes. Therefore the problems related with their safe management and dumping has turned into a major concern for environmentalists and scientists. This project evaluates the effect of fly ash on the compressive strength development of concrete.
