A glider is a fixed-wing aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine. Most gliders do not have an engine, although motor-gliders have small engines for extending their flight when necessary by sustaining the altitude with some being powerful enough to off self-launch.our project aims to design and make a power glider which has high lift to drag ratio, glide ratio (i.e the distance of forward travel divided by the altitude lost in that distance) and make efficient use of power supplied. For designing and analysing we will be using XFLR5 and Ansys softwares. We will be making a radio controlled glider and will be adding pixhawk flight controller to make it autonomous. So the glider can be autonomous and manually controlled also. Ardopilot software is used to simulate the glider with different modes. GPS module will be used for tracking and navigation for delivery.
