descriptionDescription

Post the steady rise of the Indian Textile export till 2019, due to the COVID 19 crisis and the ongoing tensions with China, India saw a sharp plunge of about 68 % in the first two months of the fiscal year of 2020, despite the various efforts put in by the government to increase the production and the laws put into place. It is determined that this hit may be unrecoverable despite the current efforts put in by the government. This project consists of a complete analysis of the exports from the textile industry through the years 2005 to 2020 . In order to determine the effectiveness of various government policies on India’s Textile Export and decide upon possible changes and formulate new ones we will list out the various policies formulated till after the great depression, collect data such as employment, wage, sales, assets, fixed capital in large and small scale industries, perform descriptive analytics to better understand the changes that took place and repeat the above three steps for the 2017 dip and COVID 19
